Xaverian Dental Clinic and Medical Centre inaugurated in New Delhi. Octogenarian Fr. Marden Pereira (86 year old, senior-most member of the Province) enthusiastically volunteered to be the first patient.
Fathers join in the interfaith prayer service of the Bal Niketan hostel boys at Bathinda, Punjab. Local customs, attire and symbolism facilitated the reading and reflections from the Bible, Bhagavad Gita and lives of the Sikh Gurus.
